This is a screenshot taken from the trailer for the upcoming Abram produced film; Cloverfield. It is shown at the beginning of the trailer, in a scene for Rob's leaving party.
It's looks suspicously like Elmo might be the roaring scary monster stalking New York City.
Or possibly thinking about the phenomenon of Saint Elmo's Fire......
- By definition, Saint Elmo's Fire is an electrical weather phenomenon in which visible plasma (a bright blue or violet glow), is created by a coronal discharge originating from a grounded object in an atmospheric electric field (such as those generated by thunderstorms or thunderstorms created by a volcanic explosion).
- St. Elmo's fire is named after St. Erasmus of Formiae (also called St. Elmo), the patron saint of sailors, who sometimes held its appearance to be auspicious.
- Saint Elmo's fire was believed by sailors to show them they would get through the storm.
The Cloverfield monster is thought to come from the Sea.
Did Elmo lead the Cloverfield monster to New York City?
